Naila bint Farafisa reported,

The Commander of the Faithful Uthman dozed off and slipped into a light sleep, then woke up and said, "These people are going to kill me."I said, "No, by Allah's will it will not come to that. Your subjects are only seeking that you make amends with them."He said, "I just saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in my sleep, along with Abu Bakr and Umar , and they said to me, 'You will break your fast with us tonight.'"

عن نائلة بنت الفرافصة امرأة عثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه قالت

نعس أمير المؤمنين عثمان فأغفى فاستيقظ فقال ليقتلنني القوم قلت كلا إن شاء الله لم يبلغ ذاك إن رعيتك استعتبوك قال إني رأيت رسول الله ﷺ في منامي وأبو بكر وعمر رضي الله عنهما فقالوا تفطر عندنا الليلة
