The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who has memorized the Quran is like the owner of a hobbled camel. If he tends to it diligently, he keeps it, but if he sets it loose, it runs away."
قال قرأت على عبد الرحمن: مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال مثل صاحب القرآن كمثل صاحب الإبل المعقلة إن عاهد عليها أمسكها وإن أطلقها ذهبت
