The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the lizard, and he said, "I do not eat it, nor do I forbid it."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن حدثني سفيان عن عبد الله بن دينار سمعت
سئل رسول الله ﷺ عن الضب فقال لست بآكله ولا محرمه
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5255.
