The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever keeps a dog, except for a hunting dog or a livestock dog, two qirats are deducted from his good deeds each day."Abdul-Rahman said, "Deducted from his good deeds."
Its isnad is sahih. It is a repetition of the previous one, in ح, in the narration of Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi to which the Imam referred at the end of the hadith, "decreased from his deed." The addition "from his deed" is not found in ك and م, so we removed it, and there is no need to retain it, because what is meant is the difference between the two narrations of Waki and Ibn Mahdi regarding the word "decreased." In Waki's narration it is in the active voice, while in Abdul-Rahman's narration it is in the passive voice.
