The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourds, green-glazed jars, and vessels coated with pitch. Shuba said, "I believe he also mentioned hollowed-out tree trunks."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا شعبة عن محارب بن دثار قال سمعت
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدباء والحنتم والمزفت قال شعبة وأراه قال والنقير
Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of 5015, see also 1910.
