Saad bin Ubayda reported,

I was with Ibn Umar in a circle when he heard a man in another circle saying, "No, by my father!" Ibn Umar threw pebbles at him and said, "This was the oath of Umar, but the Prophet ﷺ forbade him from it and said that it constitutes shirk."
