The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah intends punishment for a people, the punishment strikes everyone among them, and then they will be raised according to their deeds."Ali said in his version of the report, "Hamza bin Abdullah bin Umar told me that he heard Ibn Umar saying this."
Its isnad is sahih. Attab is Ibn Ziyad Khurasani Marwazi, the teacher of Ahmad, whose reliability was already established at 1423 and 2620, and we add here that Ibn Abu Hatim gave his biography in Jarh wa Tadil 3/2/13, saying, "My father wrote from him at Rayy and narrated from him," and he said, "My father was asked about him, and he said, 'Trustworthy.'"Abdullah is Ibn Mubarak. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari, 13:50–51, through the route of Ibn Mubarak, and by Muslim, 2:360, through the route of Ibn Wahb, both of them from Yunus from Zuhri.
