When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Uhud, the women of the Ansar began weeping over their husbands who had been killed.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "But Hamza has no one to weep for him."He then went to sleep, and when he awoke, they were still weeping. So to this day, whenever they weep, they lament for Hamza.
حدثنا زيد بن الحباب حدثني أسامة بن زيد حدثني نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ لما رجع من أحد فجعلت نساء الأنصار يبكين على من قتل من أزواجهن قال فقال رسول الله ﷺ ولكن حمزة لا بواكي له قال ثم نام فاستنبه وهن يبكين قال فهن اليوم إذا يبكين يندبن بحمزة
