I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say from this pulpit, while forbidding the people from what is disliked for them when they enter the state of ihram, "Do not wear turbans, shirts, trousers, hooded cloaks, or leather socks, unless someone is compelled to wear them, in which case he should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by wars dye or saffron."He also said, I heard him forbid women from wearing face-gloves and the face-veil, and any garments touched by wars dye or saffron.
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا محمد يعني ابن إسحاق عن نافع
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول على هذا المنبر وهو ينهى الناس إذا أحرموا عما يكره لهم لا تلبسوا العمائم ولا القمص ولا السراويلات ولا البرانس ولا الخفين إلا أن يضطر مضطر إليهما فيقطعهما أسفل من الكعبين ولا ثوبا مسه الورس ولا الزعفران قال وسمعته ينهى النساء عن القفاز والنقاب وما مس الورس والزعفران من الثياب
