A man called out to the Prophet ﷺ, "What clothing should a person in the state of ihram wear?"He replied, "Do not wear shirts, turbans, hooded cloaks, trousers, or leather socks, unless one cannot find sandals, in which case he may wear leather socks but should cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any garment touched by wars dye."Ibn Awn said, "He either said 'dyed' or said 'touched by wars and saffron.'"Ibn Awn added, "In Nafi's written record, it says 'touched by.'"

نادى رجل النبي ﷺ ماذا يلبس المحرم من الثياب فقال لا تلبسوا القميص ولا العمامة ولا البرانس ولا السراويلات ولا الخفاف إلا أن لا تكون نعال فإن لم تكن نعال فخفين دون الكعبين ولا ثوبا مسه ورس قال ابن عون إما قال مصبوغ وإما قال مسه ورس وزعفران قال ابن عون وفي كتاب نافع مسه
