Ibn Umar used to perform ablution by washing each part three times, attributing this practice to the Prophet ﷺ, while Ibn Abbas used to perform ablution by washing each part once, also attributing this practice to the Prophet ﷺ.
حدثنا روح قال حدثنا الأوزاعي
كان ابن عمر يتوضأ ثلاثا يرفعه إلى النبي ﷺ وكان ابن عباس يتوضأ مرة يرفعه إلى النبي ﷺ
