The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stop at Wadi Namirah in Arafah. When Hajjaj killed Ibn Zubayr, he sent word to Ibn Umar asking, "At what time did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out on this day?"Ibn Umar replied, "When that time comes, we will set out."So Hajjaj sent a man to watch and see at what time he would depart. When Ibn Umar was about to set out, he asked, "Has the sun passed its zenith?"They said, "The sun has not yet passed its zenith."He asked again, "Has the sun passed its zenith?"They said, "It has not yet passed."When they finally said, "It has now passed," he set off.

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان ينزل بعرفة وادي نمرة فلما قتل الحجاج بن الزبير أرسل إلى ابن عمر أية ساعة كان رسول الله ﷺ يروح في هذا اليوم فقال إذا كان ذاك رحنا فأرسل الحجاج رجلا ينظر أي ساعة يروح فلما أراد ابن عمر أن يروح قال أزاغت الشمس قالوا لم تزغ الشمس قال زاغت الشمس قالوا لم تزغ فلما قالوا قد زاغت ارتحل
