Humran reported,

Uthman was sitting on the benches when he called for water for ablution and performed it. Then he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution in this very spot of mine, then he said, 'Whoever performs ablution like this ablution of mine, then stands and prays two units of prayer, his previous sins will be forgiven.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "But do not be deceived."

عن حمران قال

كان عثمان رضي الله عنه قاعدا في المقاعد فدعا بوضوء فتوضأ ثم قال رأيت رسول الله ﷺ توضأ في مقعدي هذا ثم قال من توضأ مثل وضوئي هذا ثم قام فركع ركعتين غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه وقال رسول الله ﷺ لا تغتروا
