The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I saw at the Kaabah a man of Adam complexion with straight hair, resting his hand on two men, his head dripping with water. I asked, 'Who is this?' They said, 'Isa son of Maryam,' or 'the Messiah son of Maryam,' I am not sure which they said.And I saw behind him a man of Ahmar complexion with curly hair, blind in his right eye, resembling Ibn Qatan more than anyone I have seen. I asked, 'Who is this?' They said, 'The false Messiah, the Dajjal.'"
حدثنا ابن نمير عن حنظلة عن سالم سمعت
إن رسول الله ﷺ قال رأيت عند الكعبة رجلا آدم سبط الرأس واضعا يده على رجلين يسكب رأسه أو يقطر رأسه فسألت من هذا فقالوا عيسى ابن مريم أو المسيح ابن مريم ولا أدري أي ذلك قال ورأيت وراءه رجلا أحمر جعد الرأس أعور عين اليمنى أشبه من رأيت به ابن قطن فسألت من هذا فقالوا المسيح الدجال
Its isnad is sahih. Hanzala is Ibn Abu Sufyan al-Makki. Bukhari narrated the hadith in similar form many times through various routes from Ibn Umar, including 6:349-353 and 13:83-87, 329. Hafiz pointed in Fath al-Bari 13:85 to this narration of Hanzala several times, but its exact location was not clear to me. Ibn Qatan is Abdul-Uzza, a man from pre-Islamic times, as we mentioned in the commentary on the hadith of Ibn Abbas 3148, and see also 2854, 3546.
