The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the woman who adds hair extensions and the woman who has them added, and the woman who tattoos and the woman who has herself tattooed.
حدثنا يحيى عن عبيد الله حدثني نافع
لعن رسول الله ﷺ الواصلة والمستوصلة والواشمة والمستوشمة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud (4:126) narrated it from Ahmad bin Hanbal and Musaddad, from Yahya, with this isnad. Munziri said, Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi, Nasai, and Ibn Majah all narrated it. This meaning has already occurred in the hadith of Ibn Masud several times, the last of them being 4434.
