Ibn Umar would sometimes lead us in prayer, reciting two or three surahs in an obligatory prayer.
حدثنا يحيى عن عبيد الله
ربما أمنا ابن عمر بالسورتين والثلاث في الفريضة
Its isnad is sahih, and it is stopped at Ibn Umar. It is found in Majma al-Zawaid 2:114, where it is said, "Ahmad narrated it, and its men are the men of the Sahih."
