Abdullah bin Zubayr said to him when he was under siege, "I have swift camels which I have prepared for you. Would you move to Mecca, so that whoever wishes to come to you may do so?"He replied, "No. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A ram from Quraysh named Abdullah will commit heresy in Mecca, and upon him will be the equivalent of half the burdens of mankind.'"

قال له عبد الله بن الزبير حين حصر إن عندي نجائب قد أعددتها لك فهل لك أن تحول إلى مكة فيأتيك من أراد أن يأتيك قال لا إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول يلحد بمكة كبش من قريش اسمه عبد الله عليه مثل نصف أوزار الناس
