The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no envy except in two cases: a man whom Allah has given the Quran and who recites it throughout the hours of the night and day, and a man whom Allah has given wealth and who spends it rightfully throughout the hours of the night and day."
حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا حسد إلا في اثنتين رجل آتاه الله القرآن فهو يقوم به آناء الليل والنهار ورجل آتاه الله مالا فهو ينفقه في الحق آناء الليل والنهار
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari and Muslim narrated it, as noted in Targhib wal-Tarhib 2:208. Its meaning has already appeared in the hadith of Ibn Masud, 3651, 4109.
