The Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you eats, let him eat with his right hand, and when he drinks, let him drink with his right hand, for Satan eats with his left hand and drinks with his left hand."
حدثنا سفيان عن الزهري
عن النبي ﷺ قال إذا أكل أحدكم فليأكل بيمينه وإذا شرب فليشرب بيمينه فإن الشيطان يأكل بشماله ويشرب بشماله
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Bakr bin Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Umar is trustworthy, Abu Zura considered him trustworthy. Malik narrated the hadith in Muwatta 3:109 from Ibn Shihab, who is Zuhri. Muslim narrated it 2:135 through Sufyan from Zuhri, and through Malik from Zuhri. Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi also narrated it, and Tirmidhi graded it sahih, as mentioned in Al-Muntaqa 4680.
