The Prophet ﷺ carried out the punishment of amputation for the theft of a shield worth three dirhams.
حدثنا إسماعيل أخبرنا أيوب عن نافع
أن النبي ﷺ قطع في مجن ثمنه ثلاثة دراهم
Its isnad is sahih, and it was narrated by all of them (al-Jamaah), as in al-Muntaqa 4067, and its meaning has already passed with a daif isnad from the hadith of Saad bin Abu Waqqas, 1455.
