I saw in a dream as though I had in my hand a piece of brocade, and there was no place in Paradise I pointed to with it except that it flew me to that place. Hafsa related the dream to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Your brother is a righteous man," or, "Abdullah is a righteous man."
حدثنا إسماعيل حدثنا أيوب عن نافع قال
رأيت في المنام كأن بيدي قطعة إستبرق ولا أشير بها إلى مكان من الجنة إلا طارت بي إليه فقصتها حفصة على النبي ﷺ فقال إن أخاك رجل صالح أو إن عبد الله رجل صالح
Its isnad is sahih. Tirmidhi 4:351 also narrated it, from the route of Ismail, who is Ibn Ulaya, from Ayub, with this isnad. Tirmidhi said, this is a hasan sahih hadith, and his commentator said, Bukhari and Muslim and Nasai also narrated it. See 6330.
