Someone said to Ibn Umar, "Why do I see you touching only these two corners, the Black Stone and the Yemeni Corner?"Ibn Umar replied, "If I do so, it is because I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Touching them wipes away sins.' And I heard him say, 'Whoever performs seven circuits, keeping count of them, and prays two rakahs, it is equivalent to freeing a slave.' And I heard him say, 'No one lifts a foot or places it down without ten good deeds being recorded for him, ten bad deeds being erased from him, and his rank being raised by ten degrees.'"

لابن عمر ما لي لا أراك تستلم إلا هذين الركنين الحجر الأسود والركن اليماني فقال ابن عمر إن أفعل فقد سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن استلامهما يحط الخطايا قال وسمعته يقول من طاف أسبوعا يحصيه وصلى ركعتين كان له كعدل رقبة قال وسمعته يقول ما رفع رجل قدما ولا وضعها إلا كتبت له عشر حسنات وحط عنه عشر سيئات ورفع له عشر درجات
Its isnad is hasan, because Hushaym heard from Ata bin Saaib after his memory became confused.Abdullah bin Ubayd bin Umayr bin Qatada bin Saad bin Amir was a trustworthy successor. Abu Hatim, Abu Zura, and others considered him reliable. Dawud the perfumer said, "He was among the most eloquent people of Makkah." In Tahdheeb, it is reported from Bukhari in Awsat that he did not hear from his father, but this isnad shows the error of that claim, for he was present with his father and heard him when he asked Abdullah bin Umar, and his explicit statement of hearing will come later.The hadith appears in Targheeb wa Tarheeb 2:120, attributed to Ahmad, and to Tirmidhi with a similar wording, and to Hakim, who said, "Its isnad is sahih," and to Ibn Khuzayma in his Sahih with a similar wording, and to Ibn Hibban in his Sahih in abridged form, where he said, "They all narrated it from Ata bin Saaib, from Abdullah."It also appears in Majma al-Zawaid 3:241, where it is said, "Ahmad narrated it, and it contains Ata bin Saaib, whose memory became confused." It also states, "Ibn Majah narrated part of it," and it will come again in abridged form at 4585.
