The Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited Surah an-Najm and prostrated. Everyone in the gathering prostrated along with him except one man, who took a handful of pebbles, raised it to his face, and said, "This is enough for me."Abdullah said, "I later saw that man killed as a disbeliever."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا شعبة قال أبو إسحاق أنبأنا عن الأسود
أن رسول الله ﷺ قرأ سورة النجم فسجد وما بقي أحد من القوم إلا سجد إلا رجلا رفع كفا من حصى فوضعه على وجهه وقال يكفيني هذا قال عبد الله لقد رأيته بعد ذلك قتل كافرا
