I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the cave when "By the winds sent forth in succession" [Mursalat 77:1] was revealed to him. I recited it close to the way he taught it to me, except that I do not know with which of the two verses he ended.
حدثنا علي بن بحر حدثنا عيسى بن يونس عن الأعمش عن أبي رزين
كنت مع رسول الله ﷺ في الغار فنزلت عليه والمرسلات عرفا فقرأتها قريبا مما أقرأني غير أني لست أدري بأي الآيتين ختم
