My uncle and I came to visit Ibn Masud at midday. He stood up to begin the prayer, and we stood behind him. He took me by one hand and took my uncle by the other, then he brought us forward, placing each of us on either side of him.Then he said, "This is how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do it when they were three."
