The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever begs from people while possessing what is sufficient for him, his begging will come on the Day of Resurrection as scratches or lacerations on his face."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, what amount counts as sufficient for him?"He replied, "Fifty dirhams, or their equivalent in gold."

قال رسول الله ﷺ من سأل وله ما يغنيه جاءت مسألته يوم القيامة خدوشا أو كدوحا في وجهه قالوا يا رسول الله وما غناه قال خمسون درهما أو حسابها من الذهب
