When the verse "So glorify the praise of your Lord and seek His forgiveness. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance" [Nasr 110:3] was revealed, Abdul-Razzaq said, when "When the victory of Allah has come and the conquest" [Nasr 110:1] was revealed, the Prophet ﷺ would frequently say, "Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me. Indeed, You are the Accepter of repentance."
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو حدثنا سفيان وعبد الرزاق أخبرنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي عبيدة
لما نزلت {فسبح بحمد ربك واستغفره إنه كان توابا} قال عبد الرزاق لما نزلت إذا جاء نصر الله والفتح كان النبي ﷺ يكثر أن يقول سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك اللهم اغفر لي إنك أنت التواب
