Regarding the case of Birwa bint Washiq, he said, "Bring forward your two witnesses on this matter." So Abu Sinan and al-Jarrah, two men from the tribe of Ashja, came forward and testified.

Its isnad is sahih, and it is a repetition of the one before it. Baruh, with a fatha on the ba and the waw, with a silent ra between them, daughter of Wasiq al-Kilabiyyah or al-Ashjaiyyah, was a companion. Hafiz gave her biography in al-Isabah 8:29.
