Ata bin Farrukh reported,

The freed slave of the Quraysh reported that Uthman bought a piece of land from a man, but the man delayed in collecting his payment. So Uthman met him and asked, "What has kept you from collecting your money?"The man replied, "You cheated me. I do not meet anyone but they blame me for the deal."Uthman asked, "Is that what is keeping you?"The man answered, "Yes."Uthman said, "Then choose between your land and your money."Then he said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah admitted into Paradise a man who was easy-going as a buyer, as a seller, when settling debts, and when collecting them."

مولى القرشيين أن عثمان رضي الله عنه اشترى من رجل أرضا فأبطأ عليه فلقيه فقال له ما منعك من قبض مالك قال إنك غبنتني فما ألقى من الناس أحدا إلا وهو يلومني قال أو ذلك يمنعك قال نعم قال فاختر بين أرضك ومالك ثم قال قال رسول الله ﷺ أدخل الله عز وجل الجنة رجلا كان سهلا مشتريا وبائعا وقاضيا ومقتضيا
