Its isnad is sahih. Fudayl is Ibn Amr al-Fuqaymi. The hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah, 1:90, from Abdullah bin Amir, from Yahya bin Zakariya bin Abu Zaida, with this same isnad. Its commentator said, in al-Zawaid, "This isnad has trustworthy narrators, except that it includes Hajjaj, who is Ibn Artah, and he used to practice tadlis."
