Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one is more jealous than Allah , and for this reason He has forbidden indecencies. And no one loves praise more than Allah ."

حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا الأعمش عن شقيق قال

قال عبد الله

قال رسول الله ﷺ ما أحد أغير من الله عز وجل ولذلك حرم الفواحش وما أحد أحب إليه المدح من الله عز وجل
