The Prophet ﷺ said, "A person in the state of ihram during Muharram must not marry, nor give in marriage, nor propose."
حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن مالك حدثني نافع عن نبيه بن وهب
عن النبي ﷺ قال المحرم لا ينكح ولا ينكح ولا يخطب
Its isnad is sahih. Nafi is the freed slave of Ibn Umar. Nabih bin Wahb is trustworthy, one of the nobles of Banu Abd Dar. Tahdhib, citing Tabaqat, states that Nafi narrated from Nabih, though Nabih was not older than him.
