I was with Abdullah bin Masud at Jam, and he prayed the two prayers, each one separately with its own call to prayer and its own iqamah, with the evening meal taken between them. He then prayed the dawn prayer when the dawn broke, or he said when one person said the dawn had risen and another said it had not yet risen.Then he said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that these two prayers are shifted from their usual times at this place. The people do not arrive at Jam until nightfall, and the dawn prayer is performed at this hour."

كنت مع عبد الله بن مسعود بجمع فصلى الصلاتين كل صلاة وحدها بأذان وإقامة والعشاء بينهما وصلى الفجر حين سطع الفجر أو قال حين قال قائل طلع الفجر وقال قائل لم يطلع ثم قال إن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن هاتين الصلاتين تحولان عن وقتهما في هذا المكان لا يقدم الناس جمعا حتى يعتموا وصلاة الفجر هذه الساعة
