The polytheists kept the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from praying the afternoon prayer until the sun had turned yellow, or red. He said, "They distracted us from the middle prayer. May Allah fill their bellies, or may Allah stuff their bellies and their graves with fire."

حبس المشركون رسول الله ﷺ عن صلاة العصر حتى اصفرت أو احمرت الشمس فقال شغلونا عن صلاة الوسطى ملأ الله أجوافهم أو حشا الله أجوافهم وقبورهم نارا
