I heard a man reciting Ha-Mim, the thirtieth surah, meaning al-Ahqaf. He recited it one way, then another man recited it differently from how the first had recited it, and I recited it with letters that neither of them had used.So we went to the Prophet ﷺ and told him about it.He said, "Do not differ, for those before you were destroyed only because of their disagreements." Then he said, "Look to the one among you who recites best, and follow his recitation."
