Abdullah bin Masud reported,

He was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night of the jinn, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Abdullah, do you have water with you?"He replied, "I have some nabidh in a water skin."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Pour it over me," and he performed ablution.Then the Prophet ﷺ said, "Abdullah bin Masud, it is both a drink and a means of purification."

عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنهما

أنه كان مع رسول الله ﷺ ليلة الجن فقال له النبي ﷺ يا عبد الله أمعك ماء قال معي نبيذ في إداوة فقال اصبب علي فتوضأ قال فقال النبي ﷺ يا عبد الله بن مسعود شراب وطهور
