Abdullah bin Masud reported,

I asked, "Messenger of Allah, what wrongdoing is the most grievous?"He replied, "A cubit of land that a Muslim man unjustly takes from his brother's rightful share. There is no pebble of earth that anyone takes wrongfully except that he will be made to wear it as a collar on the Day of Resurrection, reaching down to the depths of the earth, the depths of which none knows except Allah who created it."
