A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking him about Laylat al-Qadr.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Which of you remembers the night of the reddish clouds?"Abdullah said, "By Allah, I remember it, Messenger of Allah, may my father and mother be ransomed for you. I had some dates in my hand which I was eating for suhoor, shielding myself from the dawn behind the back of my saddle, and that was when the moon rose."
حدثنا أبو النضر حدثنا المسعودي عن سعيد بن عمرو بن جعدة عن أبي عبيدة
أن رجلا أتى رسول الله ﷺ يسأله عن ليلة القدر فقال رسول الله ﷺ أيكم يذكر ليلة الصهباوات فقال عبد الله أنا والله أذكرها يا رسول الله بأبي أنت وأمي وإن في يدي لتمرات أتسحر بهن مستترا بمؤخرة رحلي من الفجر وذلك حين طلع القمر
