The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever begs from people while having enough to make him independent will come on the Day of Resurrection with scratches and lacerations on his face."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, what amount makes him independent?"He replied, "Fifty dirhams or its equivalent in gold."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا سفيان عن حكيم بن جبير عن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ من سأل وله ما يغنيه جاءت يوم القيامة خدوشا أو كدوشا في وجهه قالوا يا رسول الله وما غناه قال خمسون درهما وحسابها من الذهب
