I never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray a prayer outside its appointed time, except for two prayers. He combined the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Muzdalifah, and on that day he prayed Fajr before its usual time.
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا الأعمش عن عمارة عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد قال
ما رأيت رسول الله ﷺ صلى صلاة إلا لميقاتها إلا صلاتين صلاة المغرب والعشاء بجمع وصلاة الفجر يومئذ قبل ميقاتها
Its isnad is sahih. Umarah is Ibn Umayr. Abdul-Rahman bin Yazid is Nakhai. Bukhari related the hadith, 3:423-424, through Amash. Muslim, Abu Dawud, and Tahawi also related it. See Nasb Raya 2:194. Rather, he meant that it occurred before the time it was customarily performed at while residing in one's home. See Fath al-Bari 3:419-420.
