I visited the Prophet ﷺ while he was suffering from a fever, and when I touched him I said, "Messenger of Allah, you are burning with a severe fever."He replied, "Indeed. I suffer fever the way two men among you would."I said, "Then you have a double reward?"He said, "Yes. By Him in whose hand is my soul, there is no Muslim on earth afflicted by any harm, whether illness or anything else, without Allah stripping away his sins because of it, just as a tree sheds its leaves."
