The Messenger of Allah ﷺ disliked ten things, wearing gold rings, letting the lower garment drag, the yellow dye known as khaluq, altering gray hair (Jareer said, meaning by this plucking it out), withdrawing during intercourse to prevent conception, reciting incantations except with the protective surahs, harming a child without forbidding it to him, tying amulets, displaying adornment in an inappropriate setting, and gambling with knucklebone dice.
حدثنا جرير عن الركين عن القاسم بن حسان عن عمه عبد الرحمن بن حرملة
كان رسول الله ﷺ يكره عشر خلال تختم الذهب وجر الإزار والصفرة يعني الخلوق وتغيير الشيب قال جرير إنما يعني بذلك نتفه وعزل الماء عن محله والرقى إلا بالمعوذات وفساد الصبي غير محرمه وعقد التمائم والتبرج بالزينة لغير محلها والضرب بالكعاب
