The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever sees me in a dream has truly seen me, for Satan cannot take my form."
حدثنا إسحاق هو الأزرق حدثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي الأحوص
قال رسول الله ﷺ من رآني في المنام فقد رآني فإن الشيطان لا ينبغي له أن يتمثل بمثلي
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Ishaq is Subayi. Abu Ahwas is Awf bin Malik bin Nadla Jushami. Tirmidhi 3:248 and Ibn Majah 2:234 both narrated the hadith, both by way of Thawri from Abu Ishaq. Tirmidhi said, a hasan sahih hadith. See also 2525.
