Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

Shuba reported, and I believe Ati said this came from one of the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, the most pleasing of them to me being Umar bin Khattab , that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying at two times, after the afternoon prayer until the sun sets, and after the dawn prayer until the sun rises.

شعبة أحسبه قال من أصحاب النبي ﷺ قال وأعجبهم إلي عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن الصلاة في ساعتين بعد العصر حتى تغرب الشمس وبعد الصبح حتى تطلع
