Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Prophet's ﷺ banner was with Ali bin Abu Talib, and the banner of the Ansar was with Saad bin Ubada. Whenever the fighting grew fierce, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would be among those under the banner of the Ansar.

أن راية النبي ﷺ مع علي بن أبي طالب وراية الأنصار مع سعد بن عبادة وكان إذا استحر القتل كان رسول الله ﷺ مما يكون تحت راية الأنصار
