Abu Bakr uncovered the face of the Prophet ﷺ after he had died. A striped Yemeni cloak had been draped over him. Abu Bakr gazed at the face of the Prophet ﷺ, then bent down over him and kissed him.

أن أبا بكر كشف عن وجه النبي ﷺ وهو ميت برد حبرة كان مسجى عليه فنظر إلى وجه النبي ﷺ ثم أكب عليه فقبله
