Amr bin Shuayb reported,

Umar said, "Were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'The killer inherits nothing,' I would have given it to you as inheritance."Then he summoned the maternal uncle of the slain boy and handed the camels over to him.

قال عمر رضي الله عنه لولا أني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول ليس لقاتل شيء لورثتك قال ودعا خال المقتول فأعطاه الإبل
