On the day of Khaybar, a group of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ companions came along saying, "So-and-so is a martyr, and so-and-so is a martyr," until they passed by a man and said, "So-and-so is a martyr."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Not at all. I saw him being dragged into the Hellfire because of a cloak he had stolen from the spoils. Go out, Umar, and announce to the people that none shall enter Paradise except the believers."So I went out and called, "None shall enter Paradise except the believers."

لما كان يوم خيبر أقبل نفر من أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ يقولون فلان شهيد وفلان شهيد حتى مروا برجل فقالوا فلان شهيد فقال رسول الله ﷺ كلا إني رأيته يجر إلى النار في عباءة غلها اخرج يا عمر فناد في الناس إنه لا يدخل الجنة إلا المؤمنون فخرجت فناديت إنه لا يدخل الجنة إلا المؤمنون
