It was narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he set out in the year of the conquest during the month of Ramadan and fasted until he reached al-Kadid, then he broke his fast.
حدثنا محمد بن بكر أخبرنا ابن جريج قال أخبرني ابن شهاب عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة
عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه خرج عام الفتح في شهر رمضان فصام حتى بلغ الكديد فأفطر
