The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the killing of the bee, the ant, the shrike, and the hoopoe.Yahya said, "I saw in Sufyan's book, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn Abu Labeed, from Zuhri."
حدثنا يحيى عن ابن جريج قال حدثت عن الزهري عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن قتل النحلة والنملة والصرد والهدهد قال يحيى ورأيت في كتاب سفيان عن ابن جريج عن ابن أبي لبيد عن الزهري
Its isnad is sahih, despite its apparent problem in Ibn Jurayj's statement, "I was told on the authority of Zuhri," because Yahya Qattan saw in Sufyan's book, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Ibn Abu Labid, on the authority of Zuhri. Ibn Abu Labid is Abdullah bin Abu Labid al-Madani, who is trustworthy, Ibn Main and others having affirmed his trustworthiness. So the isnad is connected through a sound wijadah. The hadith has already appeared with another sahih isnad at 3067.
